Supervision

At Island Psychology, both Vanessa Rowell and Campbell Townsend offer clinical supervision for psychologists and other mental health professionals.

We aim to provide a warm, reflective space where you can deepen your clinical skills, feel supported in the emotional load of the work, and stay grounded in evidence-based practice while bringing your authentic self to the therapy room.

Areas of interest and expertise include:

• Psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration
• Couples therapy using the Gottman Method 
• Trauma, PTSD and complex trauma 
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) 
• Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts-based work

Campbell has a particular interest in supporting early-career psychologists in rural and regional settings, helping supervisees build sustainable, values-guided careers while maintaining their own wellbeing.

Supervision is available online and in person in Central Victoria (Bendigo / Castlemaine), subject to availability.

Vanessa brings a thoughtful, developmentally informed lens to supervision and is passionate about supporting clinicians to work collaboratively with young people and their families.
