General, Educational & Developmental, and Health Psychologist: 

One hour consultation fee is $195.00 – Medicare rebate is $96.65

Clinical Psychologist: 

One hour consultation fee is $235.00 – Medicare rebate is $141.85 

All consultations must be paid for in full on the day. 

Sessions are one hour in duration and consist of 50 minutes therapy and 10 minutes administration.

Medicare Rebates:

You must have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) completed by your doctor to be eligible for the Medicare rebate.  When you book your appointment with your GP let the receptionist know that you are interested in getting a MHCP.

NDIS:

Clients who self-manage or have an independent Third-party managing their funds are able to access psychologists at Island Psychology if it is part of their NDIS plan.

Island Psychology has a Did Not Attend Appointment (DNA) Fee and a Late Cancellation Fee.  You are required to advise the practice no later than 12 midday on the business day prior to your scheduled appointment time if you wish to cancel or change your appointment.  Failure to do so will result in a $100 (+ GST) fee that cannot be rebated through Medicare. This fee is to be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment with us.
