Campbell is a clinical psychologist passionate about helping adults and children lead full, rich and meaningful lives in whatever form that takes. He uses a range of therapies and techniques (including Person Centred Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Schema Therapy), in order to help people discover for themselves the values, strengths and skills that help them to be the people that they want to be in the world.
Campbell is a Gottman Certified Couples Therapist. He provides sessions from his clinic in Central Victoria as well as Marathon Therapy either at his clinic or in your home.
Campbell understands that relationships can be tricky things to negotiate and believes strongly that loving and accepting love from another person is a skill that can be taught and learned. Campbell is a strong believer in a robust assessment process when working with couples. Therefore any couple that goes through the Gottman assessment process with him will leave with a clear picture of their strengths as a couple and the areas that could be tweaked in order that the relationship can be the best that it can be.
Campbell has worked with children and with adults both individually as well as in group settings. He has worked with some of the countries most vulnerable populations in the drug and alcohol field and with incarcerated prisoners, as well as helped some of the countries brightest university students reach their full potential.
Campbell has published research in the field of prejudice and discrimination.
Campbell is working part time at St Vincents Hospital using Psychedelic Assisted Therapist for Depression and at the Clinical Psychedelic Lab at Monash University using Psychedelic Assisted Therapist for Anxiety.
Campbell is passionate about connecting children and adults to the natural world. He has a keen interest in organic gardening techniques, sustainability and beekeeping and has spent over 1 year of his life travelling by bicycle throughout the world both solo and with his young family.
